Qianhai promotes ‘Staying true to our founding mission’campaign

　　A meeting was convened this morning in Qianhai to promote the “Staying true to our founding mission and keep our mission firmly in mind” education campaign.

　　The Qianhai authority initiated the education campaign in the free trade area June 6.

　　The meeting was attended by Tian Fu, director of the Authority of China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Qianhai & Shekou Area, Du Peng, director of Qianhai Cooperation Zone Authority, other officials and department chiefs in Qianhai, and hosted by Du Peng.

　　The attendees also learned about the guidelines and decisions adopted by the municipal authority regarding the implementation of the education campaign. Work related to the campaign in Qianhai was also assigned to related departments at the meeting.

　　Tian Fu pointed out that all Party members and officials in Qianhai should strictly implement the guidelines adopted by the higher authorities and carry out work by bearing in mind the speeches made by President Xi Jinping during his two visits to Qianhai, as well as the Party rules and regulations, the mission of Qianhai’s development and the expectations of the people.

　　He said various work channels and methods, including seminars, field visits, questionnaires, new media platforms and the soliciting of public opinions, can be deployed in carrying out the education camgpaign.

　　Tian Fu reminded all officials and Party members to have a clear understanding of the position of Qianhai -- a Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation zone, a pilot free trade area, part of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, a demonstration zone of the rule of law and a new urban center of a metropolis -- when carrying out their work related to the campaign.
